Maria Madigan of Wine Tours has just sent details of two trips to Bordeaux which she will organise in 2010. The first tour runs from Friday 23rd April to Monday 26th April, 2010. The second tour will run from Friday 17th to Monday 20th September, 2010. TOUR TO INCLUDE: Direct return flights from Dublin to Bordeaux with Air Lingus. ARGENTINIAN WINE PRODUCER DINNER Enowine Monkstown, Monday 15th March & La Cuvee, IFSC, Tuesday 16th March, 2010
Eno Wine are kicking off the St. Patrick’s Day Festivities with the visit of one of their newest wineries – Familia Cassone from Argentina.
The Cassone family arrived in Argentina from northern Italy in the 19th Century. Today they are making superb wines from 90-year-old vines.
Florencia Cassone of the Familia Cassone, owners of the estate, will be travelling to Dublin to present her wines at two dinners, one at La Cuvee in the IFSC and one at Enowine in Monkstown Crescent. She will serve Familia Cassone sparkling wines, rose and two levels of the country’s signature Malbec wines at the dinners on March 15 and 16. The dinner menu is listed below.
